Happy 4th of July

American Flag-001You have survived the mid-term school holiday. You are probably thinking you need a holiday, treat, pampering, reward or simply a moment to just put your feet up and EXHALE. As our accounting year ended in June, and so we have been hard at work completing inventory among other year-end routine.

And as usual, we found some odds and ends of bottles that absolutely need to be cleared. So let’s enhance that moment of EXHALE, with a glass of wine in your hand, or put on the grill and cheers to a Happy 4th of July weekend.

Nothing celebrate accomplishment and a holiday like a good glass of bubbly. Celebrate that you have survived the school holiday, or that you have made your children smile and laughed every day. So feel free to pop a bottle of Schramsberg 2009 Blanc de Noir ($62 nett/btl). Or weekend BBQ parties with friends and family, the excellent value Portuguese wine such as Regia Colheita DOC Reguengos Reserva (white) (buy 12 and get 15) or Monsaraz Red 2012 ($22 nett/btl) will keep party going without breaking the bank account.

Lucky for you if your children go to bed early (I know few who will sleep at 8pm, wonderful isn’t it), how about an elegant red for a nice quiet dinner for two. You will not go wrong with a Pinot Noir from Siduri ($57 nett/btl). If you respond soon enough, you might get to pick up some Flowers Andreen Gale Pinot Noir ($89 nett/btl), which we surprisingly stumbled upon while going through at the warehouse. We thought we sold them all. Even if it is just to catch up on your reading or TV shows with no one interrupting with 101 questions, it will be nice to find balance like a 92pts Novy Sonoma Syrah ($47 nett/btl) that doesn’t require any wine opener, or velvety Tre Leoni blend from Whitehall Lane ($53nett/btl).

And if you really want to give yourself a luxurious treat, how about a 1975 Chateau Mouton Rothschild ($650 nett/btl). We have a few more well-priced Bordeaux labels such as Chateau Phelan Segur 1998 ($122 nett/btl) or Chateau Lascombe 2002 ($148 nett/btl). In time for Bastille Day.

With discounts up to almost 50% off, it is simply irresistible.  Click Bin End & Promotion for the respective listing for details.
